Every shingle roof we install is Class 3 impact-rated or better, with Class 4 available. We also install every common type of metal roof. Snow Roofing & Exteriors is run by third-generation roofer Blake Snow, with 75 years in the roofing business and offices in Bridgeport, Decatur and Rhome.
We don't install basic shingles. Ever.
Most roofers sell a "good, better, best" lineup, and the "good" option is often a shingle with no impact rating. We skipped that tier. Every shingle roof we install is rated Class 3 or better under UL 2218, the lab test that drops steel balls on roofing. Class 4 is available on any job.
Why it matters here: NOAA lists 40 reports of golf-ball-size or larger hail in Wise County alone from 2016 to mid-2026, including 2.75-inch hail at the Bridgeport airport in May 2025 and again in April 2026.
On insurance, the Texas Department of Insurance says insurers may credit UL 2218 roofs, the amount varies by company, and Class 4 generally earns the most. We don't promise a discount. Call your insurer, and we'll give you TDI Form PC068 for a qualifying install.

We form our own standing seam panels
We form our standing seam panels in-house on our own roll formers and standing seam machine, and our own crew installs them. Most roofers order standing seam panels from a supplier and wait on that supplier's schedule. We run our own, and the crew that installs them works for us.
Every home roof we install comes with a 10-year transferable workmanship warranty, with manufacturer warranties up to lifetime. Commercial roofs get a 10-year transferable workmanship warranty, plus 10- to 20-year NDL (no-dollar-limit) manufacturer warranties.
From inspection to final walkthrough
- Free on-roof inspection. We photograph what we find. [CONFIRM: do you give every inspection customer a written report with labeled photos they keep, hired or not?]
- A straight answer: repair, replace, or leave it alone.
- Written quote listing the materials, impact rating and warranty.
- Storm job? We document the damage and meet your adjuster. You pay your deductible, as Texas law requires.
- Install and clean-up, then a final walkthrough with you.

What kind of shingles does Snow Roofing & Exteriors install?
Only impact-rated shingles. Every shingle roof we install is rated Class 3 or better under UL 2218, with Class 4 available, even on basic re-roofs.

Is Snow Roofing & Exteriors licensed?
Texas does not issue state roofing licenses. We are insured, provide a certificate of insurance on request, and are certified with GAF, CertainTeed, Owens Corning, and Atlas. Owner Blake Snow is a third-generation roofer, and the business has 75 years in roofing.
Do you help with hail damage insurance claims?
We inspect and photograph storm damage and meet your adjuster on the roof. We are not public adjusters and do not negotiate claims. Texas law requires you to pay your deductible, and we never waive it.
Besides roofing, what do you do?
Gutters, siding, windows, soffit and fascia, exterior painting, pergolas, outdoor kitchens, and pool houses, so one crew can handle the whole exterior.
