Metal, specialty shingles and full siding replacement in Paradise
From our Bridgeport office we take on whole-roof and whole-house projects in Paradise and across Wise County. If you're planning a roof or siding project in Paradise that you want done once and done right, that's the work we want.
- Specialty and designer shingles. Designer and luxury shingles and slate-look and shake-look shingles for homes where the roof is part of the look.
- Standing seam and other metal. 26-gauge standing seam, plus 26-gauge R-panel, stone-coated steel and metal shingles and tile. We form our standing seam panels in-house on our own roll formers and standing seam machine, and our own crew installs them.
- Premium shingle systems. Impact-rated shingle systems from the manufacturers we're certified with (GAF, CertainTeed, Owens Corning and Atlas). Class 3 is our minimum and Class 4 is available, with TDI Form PC068 for your insurer. Credits vary by company.
- Full siding replacement. Whole-house siding replacement, done with the roof, gutters, soffit and fascia in one project when you want everything to match.
Snow Roofing & Exteriors is A+ rated on the BBB. We do repair leaks and storm damage near Paradise too, and if a repair is all your roof needs, we'll tell you that first. See storm & hail inspections.
A prairie town that got its name from wildflowers
Paradise sits on State Highway 114 in southwestern Wise County. TSHA says the settlement began in the early 1870s as a store called Eldorado, and the name was changed to Paradise Prairie for the wildflowers around the site. When the Rock Island railroad arrived in 1893, the town moved a mile northeast to be near the tracks. It stayed small for a century, but it's been growing fast lately. Census estimates show Paradise at 490 residents in the 2020 base and about 807 in 2025, roughly 65% growth.
What's going up around Paradise is mostly new homes on acreage, along with the shops and barns that go with them. Those are our kind of jobs.
The December 2022 tornado, and hail
NOAA's survey for December 13, 2022 rates an EF-2 tornado that began southeast of Paradise, tracked about 9.7 miles northeast to southeast of Decatur, and caused EF-2 roof damage to several homes along county roads. NOAA also lists 1.75-inch hail at Paradise on February 21, 2022, on October 20, 2019, and again on April 28, 2026.
After a storm, roofs often look fine from the driveway. We get on the roof, photograph what we find, and write it up so you can decide what to do. See storm & hail inspections.
